First innovations and hot start-ups for this year have already been identified. No question that Swedish SIME (Scandinavian Interactive Media Event), the biggest annual Northern European conference on the future of digital, technology, social and business, has planned all summit stops on its route to Stockholm, traditionally held in November.
The route to Stockholm has been fixed now. This year’s conference trail will stop at
- Barcelona, Spain – on 14 June, 2012
- London, UK – in October, 2012
- Stockholm, Sweden – from 13 to 14 November, 2012
The Swedish team around Christoffer Granfelt and Ola Ahlvarsson spread their vision

Unfortunaly, Vienna will not be spotted in June 2012 as reported on earlier on SIME’s Facebook page. Last year, a one-day summit was helt at the great Brauerei Ottakringer brewery event location, and co-hosted by Microsoft Austria and Vienna’s technology agency ZIT. To leverage each region’s economy for the mainly international visitors, SIME co-operated in the past already with institutions as Barcelona Activa and Stockholm City Council.
